K-State Football

K-State became the first ranked team to beat Bob Stoops in Norman when it posted a 24-19 victory over Oklahoma. But if you listen to Bill Snyder and Collin Klein, it was just another win.

Despite Snyder and Klein's protestations to the contrary, Sports Illustrated's Stewart Mandel thinks the win was a lot more than just another win.

ESPN's Gene Wojciechowski agrees with Mandel. With the win, Klein is pushing K-State into the title picture.

With the win, K-State jumped to No. 7 in the AP Poll and No. 8 in the Coaches Poll. Given its less-traditional approach, SB Nation's BlogPoll may rank the Wildcats even higher.

The win over the Sooners was a Snyder special, where K-State is outgained on the road against a ranked team and still wins. By doing so, K-State served notice that it's a team to be reckoned with.

Justin Tuggle has found his place on defense. The senior linebacker moved over from quarterback, and is now playing the position his father played in the NFL.

Matt Hinton has his usual eloquent analysis of K-State's win over at Sunday Morning QB.

K-State Volleyball

After losing its first match in a midweek sweep at the hands of Oklahoma, K-State got back to its winning ways by sweeping Nebraska-Omaha at Ahearn. Big 12 Conference play continues this week when K-State is host to the West Virginia Mountaineers for the first time.
