Bill Snyder thinks John Hubert is about as consistent as anyone on the team. Coming from Snyder, who values consistent effort and improvement above all else, that's not a bad compliment.

Snyder has some history with North Texas. Yeah, we know, we see the highlight pretty much every Saturday.

Of course, the North Texas coach is a familiar face, too. Dan McCarney coached Iowa State from 1995-2006.

Kevin Haskin thinks the Big 12 champion may have two losses. That's entirely possible, because I don't see a truly elite team in the conference this season. And it bodes well for us, with road trips to Oklahoma and West Virginia on the schedule.

K-State Volleyball

The Wildcats are now 10-0 after sweeping Tulsa yesterday at the Golden Hurricane Classic. K-State's biggest test of the season awaits tonight in the form of No. 10 Minnesota.
