K-State Football

K-State blew away the Miami Hurricanes on Saturday in Manhattan. The Wildcats won 52-13 behind a four-touchdown effort from Collin Klein (three rushing, one passing) and another 100-yard rushing day from John Hubert.

With the win -- and a bunch of losses by other ranked teams -- K-State moved up six spots to No. 15 in the AP Poll. Stay tuned for the SB Nation BlogPoll later this week.

Klein led the offense, as usual, and Arthur Brown led the defense against his former team. Brown tallied 10 tackles on the day, including a big sack of Miami quarterback Stephen Morris on third-and-goal in the third quarter.

Curry Sexton was the beneficiary of Klein's lone touchdown pass on the day. It was the first receiving touchdown of Sexton's career.

The K-State offense was balanced and efficient against Miami. Other than Klein's first interception of the season and the failed gadget play from the goal line, K-State was a balanced machine.
