Dylan Veatch is a transfer from Indiana, where he redshirted during the 2011 season. As a Hoosier, he was a three-time scout team player of the week (South Carolina State, Illinois and Northwestern).
That's the same role he'll play for us this fall, because despite his redshirt, he must sit out this year in accordance with NCAA Division I transfer protocols. He is listed erroneously as a sophomore, but was in the class of 2011.
Also to be factored in is that this is his third position change in 18 months. He was recruited as a quarterback, switched to safety while at Indiana and now is listed at wide receiver.
