#26 Cody Harrison |
Position: Wide Receiver Previous College: None Projection: Scout Team Status: Walk-On |
Cody J. Harrison (b. July 29, 1992) was a three-year letterman at Topeka High, where he earned all-city honors as a running back and kick returner, all-league accolades as a running back, and all-state status as a cornerback.
Naturally, he won't play any of those positions at K-State, where he walked on and redshirted in 2010 while also converting to wide receiver. But if you care to see what he looked like in high school, you can find a video here.
He's also a poor man's Sam Harvill, given that he's a five-time state record holder in weightlifting. Harrison also placed fifth at state in wrestling his senior year. Those always are nice things to see in football players.
Harrison played against Kent State and Kansas last year, but did not record any statistics. Expect him to contribute mainly on the scout team and on special teams.
