#39 Cameron Morgan |
Position: Safety Previous College: None Projection: Redshirt Status: Preferred Walk-On |
Cameron Morgan (b. Nov. 14, 1993) is a preferred walk-on quarterback-turned-safety whom we plucked out of the state of Nebraska. He attracted interest, although not scholarship offers, from K-State, Nebraska and UCLA.
He set the Nebraska Class A state record for most touchdowns in a game in 2009 at six and also took his baseball team to the state championship, playing second base and pitcher. Watch him in action here.
Expect him to redshirt, but with out history of turning walk-on quarterbacks into safeties and eventually awarding them scholarships (see: Ty Zimmerman), he might make an impact down the road.
