Matt Gregory Pestinger (b. March 2, 1991) attended Hutchinson Community College, but apparently didn't play there.
He lettered three years at Beloit High School under head coach Casey Seyfert, where Pestinger helped to lead the Trojans to a 10-2 record and a district championship as a senior in 2008.
Pestinger lettered four years in golf, was a three-time state qualifier and finished as high as 15th in the state meet.
He also lettered three years in basketball, earning all-league honors.
