K-State Football

The TV schedule is set for K-State's first three games. Missouri State is at 6 p.m. on, Miami is at 11 a.m. on FX, and North Texas is at 6 p.m. on FSN.

Nigel Malone wants more than just a rerun of last season. He's clearly adopted Goal #4: Improve. Everday ... as a player, person and student.

With the over/under for K-State's wins this year at eight, SB Nation's Bud Elliott is taking the under.

By contrast, Barking Carnival is downright bullish on K-State in its annual bulls, bears and narwhals post. I kind of wish bull and narwhal could change definitions, because it'd be cool to be a narwhal.

K-State Women's Basketball

File this under things that don't happen every decade. Stephanie Wittman was dismissed from K-State's women's basketball team for a violation of team rules.
