Ryan Doerr (b. June 19, 1989) is, in my opinion, one of the most underrated punters in the nation.

You don't hear much about him, but I would rate him behind only James Garcia, Tim Reyer and Sean Snyder based on his three seasons for us thus far.

Doerr, who enters his senior season ranked sixth in school history in career yardage and eighth in career average, will be an All-Big 12 candidate this year.

Although projected backup Mark Krause appears to be an average talent in his own right, there's no competition worth discussing here. Doerr is the guy unless he is injured, and everyone knows it.

Doerr is a badass who's never, as far as I know, failed to take the field for a punt, thus causing a safety. And even without the ever-reliable Corey Adams snapping to him anymore, Doerr only had two punts blocked in 2011.
