Lucas James Munds (b. Oct. 10, 1993) is a walk-on wide receiver from Hutchinson High School, which is a bit of a transition since Hutch High runs a flexbone offense that largely eschews traditional wide receivers.
A three-year letter-winner for the Salthawks under head coach Randy Dreiling, Munds helped to lead the team to two state championships, while Hutchinson went 34-4 during his three-year varsity career.
He recorded more than 900 rushing yards as a senior, including a 117-yard effort in the 2011 Kansas 5A State Championship game. Munds also lettered four years in basketball and two years in golf.
