#12 Stanton Weber |
Position: Wide Receiver Previous College: None Projection: Scout Team Status: Walk-On |
Stanton Jay Weber (b. May 7, 1993) is the son of our very own Stan Weber, everyone's favorite color analyst, former K-State quarterback and suave man about town.
On a team that features Bill Snyder's grandson, Kevin Lockett's son, J.J. Smith's nephew and Junior Seau's nephew, adding Stan Weber's kid to the roster seems perfectly in keeping with the "K-State family" theme.
Stan Jr. lettered two years at Bishop Miege and was a two-time honorable mention Eastern Kansas League player.
He had 142 tackles in his career as a defensive back and outside linebacker, including 89 as a senior, plus eight tipped passes and four picks. He also lettered in basketball and baseball.
Weber walked on, redshirted to learn a new position and is destined for the scout team. Watch his highlights here.
