K-State Athletic Department

The Star has a look at revenue sources for K-State, KU and Missouri's athletic departments. It contains some interesting information, but as so often happens, it juxtaposes athletic department growth with educational cuts as though the two had some relationship.

K-State Track and Field

Nathan Leeper made the U.S. Olympic team for the 2000 Sydney Games in high jump while he was still in school. So he ought to know what he's talking about when he calls Erik Kynard a one-of-a-kind talent.

K-State Basketball

Bruce Weber's team began preparations for its August trip to Brazil last Friday with the first of 10 practice sessions. The 10-day Brazil trip runs from August 8-17.
