According to Bruce Weber, Omari Lawrence has been the (pleasant) surprise of the summer. The junior transfer from St. John seems to be adapting well to Weber's system.

Ongoing Sandusky Saga

Do you still just want to be mad about Jerry Sandusky and Penn State? Perhaps you've reached the Nancy Gracepoint.

If you are at the Gracepoint, be forewarned that you haven't heard the last of this, by a long shot. There's going to be an appeal, there will be more criminal trials and there will be civil claims.

Like Morse, Andy Staples believes Penn State's justice should come from the courts, not the NCAA.

Dan Wetzel examined Joe Paterno's publicly available documents at the Penn State library, including his appointment books. Unfortunately, the 2001 appointment book that would shed light on whether he met with PSU administrators regarding Sandusky in February 2001 is not included in the collection.
