Ellwood Clement (b. Jan. 22, 1991) was a late pickup for the 2012 class.

Our depth at tackle is decent, but young. While Clement might not be needed unless someone is hurt, any time you can add a JUCO player of his caliber, you do so. Especially after a Manase Foketi leaves.

Like Marquez Clark, Clement was a first-team JUCO All-American, as well as a first-team all-conference pick, in his sophomore season. Here are some of his highlights. Here are a few more.

Clement, who helped Eastern Arizona to a 9-3 record in 2011, was a second-team all-conference pick that year.

He helped Eastern Arizona to finish with a national ranking of No. 20 and No. 19 in his two years, and also led the way for the No. 1 rushing attack in the NJCAA in each of his two years.

Here's some of what he had to say about becoming a Wildcat:

I made an official visit there this last weekend and it just felt like the best place for me. It's just a tight-knit place with a good environment and they're an up and coming program right now.

Charlie Dickey was my primary recruiter and our relationship has really grown.

I got a chance to speak with Coach Snyder while I was there too. We talked about him and his decision to come to Kansas State as well as things he expects. He told me about all the things that drew him there, like the environment and the fans. I spoke to a few actually and that was pretty cool.

(Collin Klein) is definitely an exciting player. I followed their games pretty closely when I got the chance out here on the West Coast. I'm anxious to be a part of that line.

I'm a very physical player. I'm fierce on the field and I'm competitive.
