Aderius Epps |
Position: Offensive Line Previous College: None Projection: Redshirt Status: On Scholarship |
Aderius Epps (b. May 18, 1994) is the lone high school offensive line signee in the 2012 class, and he looks like he could be a pretty good guard for us in a few years.
Named to the Old Coach Texas Top 100 list, Epps also was rated the No. 87 player in the state of Texas by Old Coach.
He was a first-team all-district selection as a senior and was named honorable mention as a junior.
Epps was a team captain as a junior and senior; led his team in pancakes, averaging five a game; was a four-year letterman; and earned a third-place finish at the regional power-lifting meet.
He also was a team captain on the basketball team. Rivals.com rated him a three-star player. Rivals' Brian Perroni also tabbed Epps as a sleeper among incoming Big 12 players and had this to say about him:
Though offensive guard Aderius Epps is on the short side, he plays with an incredible mean streak and could be a multi-year starter.
