Big 12 Outdoor Track and Field Championships

The conference track and field championships begin at 11 a.m. today at K-State's R.V. Christian Track Complex. I'm so jealous of all who can make it to this event. If you have a chance to catch some of the action, don't pass it up.

Apparently, national champion high jumper Erik Kynard is only now getting famous in Manhattan, after the famous video of him jumping over Jordan Henriquez. He lacks not for confidence, either, a necessary trait in an athlete who hopes to be an Olympian this year.

Conference Realignment

Louisville athletic director Tom Jurich is making UL's desire to leave the Big East no secret. Jurich reportedly told the Big East's board of directors that the Cardinals want to leave for either the Big 12 or the ACC, pending an invitation from either conference.
