So, it comes to this, the great showdown of our time. The final Big 12 championship in the Big 12 as we know it.

In Baylor, we strangely have a far more supportable antihero than the despised Jayhawks, even though there are plenty of things to dislike about the Bears, too. (Their uniforms, for one.)

But they endeared themselves to all Big 12 fans who are sick of watching KU win this event, and now they are all that stands between us and myopic, realignment-fueled Missourian stupidity and arrogance.

I never in my life thought I would utter these words, but Godspeed, Scott Drew.

Baylor should be fine as long as it keeps playing like it's been playing this week. Hopefully, the BU coaching staff watched the game film from our two victories over the Tigers. Just replicate that with your NBA talent, Drew.

Kim English's injury makes Missouri's depth even more questionable than it has been all season. Baylor should win the war of attrition. Defend the 3, pound the glass, get to the line, feed Perry Jones III. And win the game.

And then, when it's all said and done, remember those famous words: "Well... bye."
