K-State Women's Basketball

Jalana Childs once again led K-State, as the Wildcats picked up a 53-50 win over Oklahoma State in Manhattan.

With the win, K-State is 9-6 in Big 12 play, and alone in fourth place in the conference standings. You can use the women's Big 12 Bracket Generator to play around with the scenarios for where the Wildcats may finish in the standings.

Big 12 Basketball

Despite leading by 18 points with about seven minutes remaining, KU had to hang on at the end for a 66-58 win over Texas A&M in College Station. The Aggies never got closer than four, but when Thomas Robinson fouled out on a technical foul with less than a minute left the game was still far from over.

Iowa State notched its 20th win of the season by beating Texas Tech, 72-54, in Ames. At 10-5 in Big 12 play, the Cyclones lead K-State by two games, but K-State will have a chance to pull within one Saturday when ISU visits Manhattan. Iowa State also has games remaining at Missouri and at home against Baylor. It's looking increasingly likely that K-State and Iowa State will finish 4-5 in the Big 12 and will play at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday of the Big 12 Tournament.

Given that we're less than two weeks away from the Big 12 Tournament, here's your yearly link to the Big 12 Bracket Generator.
