K-State Basketball
K-State lost a heartbreaker to Iowa State last night in Ames. Royce White hit a baseline jumper with two seconds left to give the Cyclones a 72-70 win after K-State built a double-digit lead in the second half.
From Rob Cassidy's Twitter account, Frank Martin went hard at the game officials in his postgame press conference for the no-call on Rodney McGruder late. This will probably result in a fine imposed by the Big 12, but it doesn't look like Frank cares, and I don't, either. It was a bad no-call, and sometimes you have to stick up for your players. That said, a missed call on McGruder wasn't the reason K-State blew a double-digit lead.
