K-State Basketball

K-State lost a heartbreaker to Iowa State last night in Ames. Royce White hit a baseline jumper with two seconds left to give the Cyclones a 72-70 win after K-State built a double-digit lead in the second half.

From Rob Cassidy's Twitter account, Frank Martin went hard at the game officials in his postgame press conference for the no-call on Rodney McGruder late. This will probably result in a fine imposed by the Big 12, but it doesn't look like Frank cares, and I don't, either. It was a bad no-call, and sometimes you have to stick up for your players. That said, a missed call on McGruder wasn't the reason K-State blew a double-digit lead.

K-State Football

National Signing Day is here. K-State hopes junior college safety Kent Gainous will be Tysyn Hartman's replacement.

The rest of K-State's commit list is here.

In the rankings, K-State currently leads only KU and Iowa State among Big 12 schools.

Big 12 Conference

The Big 12 has released its 2012 football schedule to its TV partners, and will make the schedule public in the "near future."

The Big 12 is taking steps toward finding its next commissioner.

This Will Surprise Nobody

The Indianapolis Colts fired Ron Prince.

K-State Women's Basketball

My favorite K-State women's basketball player ever, Shalee Lehning, announced her retirement from the WNBA.
