K-State Football

K-State and KU are gearing up for the annual Sunflower Showdown. With Missouri off to the SEC, Charlie Weis thinks KU is going to start focusing more attention on this game.

You can predict the outcome of the Sunflower Showdown on this TCJ poll. The results are almost as unanimous as BOTC's poll. Almost.

Charlie Weis has chosen the Wabash Cannonball as the soundtrack for KU's practices this week. That should get their abdominal muscles in great shape, but they may get seasick if they just Wabash all day. Plus, I don't think Wabashing is going to get them ready for this game. Strange strategy by Weis.

K-State Volleyball

K-State swept No. 22 Iowa State last night in Ahearn Fieldhouse. The win moves K-State to 3-1 in conference play, which keeps them on pace to hang with 5-0 Texas and surprisingly 3-0 KU. Next up is No. 9 Texas this Saturday in Ahearn. Pack it with purple, y'all.

Big 12 Football

According to a report from The Oklahoman yesterday, the Big 12 apologized to Oklahoma State for a missed call when Texas running back Joe Bergeron fumbled at the goal line, but was credited with a touchdown. Hours later, the Big 12 denied the report.

Is this what you want?! ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED?!?!?!!?!

Nick Saban asks if we really want college football to become what we saw in Morgantown, W.Va., last weekend. Clearly he does not. You know who probably agrees with him? Bill Snyder.
