The New Basketball Training Facility: A Journey in Pictures

Kansas State's new basketball training facility is AD John Currie's pride and joy. Take a look at some photos from Friday's open house.

K-State Athletics held an open house for the new Basketball Training Facility last Friday evening. The tour was short and very limited. They wouldn't let visitors into the offices or locker rooms for obvious reasons so the only accessible areas were the lobby, the visitors center and the viewing deck above the practice floor. Still, it looks very flashy and modern and will be a great addition to K-State athletics.

There was also a nice conference room that was marked off limits but viewable through the glass walls. It had a video conference screen on it's one non-glass wall and a long conference table. I couldn't get a good enough picture due to the "NO ENTRY" signs hanging all over the glass but it looked very nice.

They also had nice trophy cases for the two Women's Big 12 Championship trophies but due to the massive amount of people and a lack of lighting I couldn't get a good enough photo of either trophy.
