The 2012 Week 6 BlogPoll, which actually appears in Week 7 and is labeled accordingly even though it chronicles Week 6 results, has been released.
Also worth reading are:
- Jon Bois' new feature, the Seismograph
- Bill Connelly's Hot Seat Watch and Numerical
- Brian Cook's This Week in Schadenfreude
- Spencer Hall's Alphabetical
Sorry, no simulated BCS standings or BCS eliminator this week. Dunno why.

SB Nation BlogPoll College Football Rankings 2011
Obviously, the big upward movers were Florida, which moved to No. 1 in plenty of other ballots besides mine; Louisiana Tech; Texas A&M; and Iowa State. South Carolina and West Virginia also benefited from big wins.
Florida State and Georgia each took a predictable tumble, although neither fell as far as I think they should.
The national consensus seems to be Texas is No. 15. That has been the Longhorns' spot in every poll I've seen.
Don't really have a lot else to add this week. The next two weeks will continue to clear things up for all of us.
P.S. I wasn't even in the top five in swing this week. There are some crazy whack ballots out there, yo.
