Open Game Thread: College Football Week Three

Iowa State kicked off the Big 12 weekend with a 24-20 win over the Connecticut Huskies last night. Ordinarily, I'd say that a home loss by your defending conference champion to Iowa State would be the worst news of the weekend for a conference. But when you hear that afounding member and another league stalwart have reportedly applied for membership in the Atlantic Coast Conference, a loss to ISU seems piddly.

That's not meant to be a shot at Iowa State, either, as the Cyclones are now 3-0 with wins over Iowa and UConn, and get a week off to prepare for the Texas Longhorns. Paul Rhoads has the Cyclones on track for bowl eligibility.

The Big 12 slate is below. A full rundown of the national games of interest is here, at Sean Keeley's College Football Buffet. K-State's game thread will be posted at 5:00 p.m.
