Haskin reports from Big 12 media days about...well, about a lot of things.

It's no surprise the Longhorn Network was the primary discussion topic yesterday. It may be a surprise that the most outwardly disgusted coach was...Gary Pinkel? Meanwhile, Texas has been summoned by the NCAA to discuss the new network.

Notes time: Phil Bennett is now Baylor's defensive coordinator, Brock Berglund's trial for assault will be right in the middle of KU's bowl preparations, Oklahoma State has a new OC, and Mizzou is still waiting on Sheldon Richardson.

Finally, we have solid evidence that Dan Beebe may be losing it. First came the self-serving four-part series in which Beebe was portrayed as the man on the white horse who worked tirelessly and fought to the finish to save the Big 12.

Then came yesterday's media days. Beebe entered the room to the theme from The Natural, before participating in a scripted interview with a pre-selected moderator in which the conference's new branding campaign, "How We Play," was introduced.
