Clyde Aufner (b. July 23, 1988), a.k.a. The Bearded One, is the stalwart anchor of our offensive line, having registered multiple starts in both seasons under Bill Snyder.

In fact, other than Ethan Douglas, Manase Foketi, Colten Freeze and Zach Hanson, he's the only returning K-State offensive lineman with starting experience, which is a somewhat sobering thought.

Although Aufner missed the start of last season with an undisclosed knee injury, it didn't prevent him from reclaiming his starting role at right tackle for the majority of the games.

Thus, I see no reason not to pencil him in at the same spot entering this season. His zone, at least, is one area of the offensive line we don't have to worry about, especially with the capable Hanson backing him up.
