The Bat Cats continued their roller coaster ride with a sweep of Texas Tech over the weekend. At 8-10, the Cats are in sole possession of sixth place in the league right now (and if they could have taken the series off Nebraska, they'd be tied with KU for fifth). Three conference series remain for the Cats, who travel to Stillwater to face Oklahoma State, get Missouri at home, and then split a series with KU. Right now, the goal has to be avoid getting swept by OSU, sweep Missouri and take the series from KU.

John Currie wasn't worried about Frank Martin. Oh, and we're getting new turf for the football field. And bathrooms for the upper concourse.

The Big 12's new TV deal will have a seven-figure impact on K-State's athletic department. That's nice.

Dan Beebe didn't kill the Big 12. He saved it.

Texas' Jordan Hamilton is entering the NBA Draft, with an agent.
