K-State Football

Conditioning is a strength at K-State. For that, you can thank Chris Dawson, a former OU linebacker and strength coach at KU.

At the midweek, Haskin muses that Missouri's board of curators meeting in Kansas City coincides with Big 12 basketball media days.

Bill Snyder is doing everything he can to make sure K-State doesn't overlook KU. I feel sorry for the people in the neighborhood who have to listen to KU's fight song on blast over, and over, and over again.

Does winning the Sunflower Showdown provide a recruiting advantage in Kansas? Snyder doesn't think so.

K-State headlines Bill's Numerical this week.

In this week's BlogPoll, K-State moves to No. 11.

The Missouri Saga f/k/a Conference Realignment

Bill takes a look at how the balance of power could shift as realignment plays out.

First saw this on RMN yesterday. It's an Ivan Maisel article from Athlon's 1995 Big Eight magazine. Very interesting story about the Southwest Conference's collapse and the formation of the Big 12.

In case you missed it, be sure to check out this 610 radio podcast with Missouri Representative Mike Talboy (will play audio when opened), in which he talks about how Kansas City-area legislators are working to protect KC's interests against Missouri's possible move to the SEC and, interestingly, how they're meeting with some obstructionism by MU.
