RPI WATCH: 1/7/2011

In the battle of perhaps the two worst teams on K-State's non-conference schedule, Texas Southern got the upper hand and extended Alcorn State's winless streak to 12 in a row.

Presbyterian moved to .500 in the Big South Conference by absolutely whacking poor Gardner-Webb, but on the flip side, a Loyola team we once thought was pretty decent proved otherwise by getting whacked at home by Detroit to fall to 1-4 in Horizon League play.

Meanwhile, out west, Washington State finally won a Pac-10 game against mercurial Oregon State and will play an even crappier Oregon team at home tomorrow.
