Colorado plans to stay in Big 12 through 2012, Boulder Daily Camera (Kyle Ringo).  The Ralphie Report is skeptical.  While it may or may not ultimately be true, it feeds into the "Damn, Colorado is broke" meme.  I have to think both parties would rather end the relationship in 2011, but the Big 12 could run into complications with Nebraska's liquidated damages if it makes concessions to CU.  It will be an interesting situation to watch play out.

Dickey: Latest additions to Pac-10 not all positive, San Francisco Examiner (Glenn Dickey).  Meanwhile, in other Colorado/Pac-10 news, influential former UCLA chancellor Chuck Young is dead-set against adding Utah and Colorado.  Apparently, final approval has not been obtained from the conference's presidents and chancellors.  While I can't imagine them nixing this at the 11th Hour, it would be kind of funny to watch CU have to crawl back to the Big 12.

Buy cheaper booze.  It's a sacrifice you gotta make.

Agreed.  Study hard, kids, but try to have some fun, too.

The difference between Manhattan in summer and Manhattan during the school year is night and day for pedestrians.
