Congratulations to Colorado for snapping its 36-game Big 12 road losing streak with an 81-68 victory in Lincoln, Neb.
Indeed, it was a good night to be a Big 12 road team across the board — Baylor, Colorado and Missouri all posted victories in not-so-hostile arenas.
Thus, the gap widened between the haves and the have-nots in the conference.
Nebraska's euphoria at finally winning a game was short-lived, while Texas Tech's losing streak has reached gargantuan proportions (but not Oklahoman proportions) and Iowa State has been added to dictionary.com under the entry for "train wreck."
I'll be shocked if any of the three advances past the first round in Kansas City.
Meanwhile, Colorado now can finish 6-10 if it can defeat Texas Tech at home Saturday, which shouldn't be too difficult. While that record is Jim Wooldridge-esque, for Colorado, it might as well be 10-6.
