TOURNEY WATCH: 3/24/2010

It probably comes as no surprise that Mississippi was able to hold Texas Tech at bay in its own gym to advance to Madison Square Garden and the NIT semifinals. After all, Ole Miss was a better team this year and actually was able to beat K-State.

But I'm more than a little surprised that the Red Raiders were able to take the game to double overtime and push the Rebels to the limit. Pat Knight's team certainly has shown some moxie in the "Not Invited Tournament" and might be able to make a move toward the upper half of the Big 12 next season.
