RPI WATCH: 12/08/2010

Tough loss for James Madison on the road to a Marshall team with a first-year head coach. That kinda sucks for the ol' RPI.

Oh, yeah, and the Jayhawks played some game in New York, I hear. I was at a meeting, so I wasn't able to watch, but from the box score and the multiple alley-oop dunk highlights I saw on SportsCenter last night, it doesn't appear they were challenged overly much.

Nor will they be until Big 12 play. Weak scheduling, thy name is Bill Self.

(And don't give me any grief about playing "name" teams, Squawk fans. Arizona and UCLA sucked last year, too, and Memphis has a college freshman for a coach.)
