Well, the Big 12 currently is 4-0 in the Big 12/Pac-10 Hardwood Series, extending the domination that began with last year's 9-3 record in favor of the Midwest.
(Is it any wonder Larry Scott wants to end this series? They keep losing!)
But it's a damn ugly 4-0. Baylor is the only team that has won in a decently dominating fashion, and even the Bears only had a 1-point lead early in the second half. At home.
Meanwhile, Nebraska escaped USC at home by two points, Missouri blew a 20-point lead last night at Oregon and barely squeaked out a three-point victory, and a KU player wearing a black-and-white-striped jersey helped the Jayhawks avoid overtime with an extremely questionable call at the end of the game.
(Seriously, if that was a foul, then what the hell do you call what Brady Morningstar did to Dominique Sutton in Bramlage Coliseum last year at the end of regulation? Don't tell me you swallow the whistle at the end of the game and "let the players play," refs, and then call that weak shit on UCLA.)
Oh, well — 4-0 is 4-0. I hope we go 12-0 in this thing and tell the Pac-12 to enjoy our leftovers (Colorado), while we sign up for a series with a real basketball conference, such as the Big East.
