The New York Yankees grounds crew is doing its best to make it look like the blizzard never happened.  Thanks to GTCat for posting.

Also from GTCat, the K-State athletic department has an excellent Pinstripe Bowl HQ.

If you're not already, you should be reading Syracuse blog Troy Nunes is an Absolute Magician.  Start off with this game preview (I'll have a similar post up tonight).  Then check out this post, which does a good job of running down the adversity that's faced the Orange in the run-up to Thursday's game.

The Pinstripe Bowl is Carson Coffman's last chance.  Funny, I was kind of thinking that we'd see more of Collin Klein.

K-State's Curtis Kelly will sit for six games as a result of receiving a 95 percent (roughly) discount on clothes from Dillard's in Manhattan.  He will be eligible for the Texas Tech game on January 15.  As posted by WillieWannabe in the comments to yesterday's FanShot, Gary Parrish is right: if you're going to cheat, go big or go home.
