I hadn't spent much time thinking about the venue for this game until I typed up this game thread, but it really is cool that K-State will be playing in The Rose Bowl tonight. In a lot of places, stadiums come and go, but not in Pasadena, where the stadium was finished in 1922 and still is host to UCLA football and the Rose Bowl Game annually.
Also, thanks to SB Nation's UCLA blog, Bruins Nation, for churning out informative content this week. Feel free to swing by over there and participate in their open thread, but please represent yourself as you would want K-State to be perceived. Nestor and the crew have been awesome this week, even posting and making favorable comments about the "Birth of K-State Football" video.
Anyway, use this as your thread during the day to discuss other goings-on in the Big 12 today (but don't joke about other teams losing, lest we be the butt of a joke over at Dr. Saturday if we lose tonight!). There are a lot of Big 12 games on the tube today...
