Football
Curtis Kitchen, 810 WHB -- Lafayette Ragin' for K-State Rematch: This is what scares me most about going on the road to play a Sun Belt school. A game at home against a BCS auto-bit conference opponent is their Super Bowl.
Austin Meek, Topeka Capital-Journal -- Cats seek offensive identity: As you'll see with the next link, this is scary. We aren't a team that can line up and run it down opponents' throats, and we can't hit them with an aerial assault.
Chris Brown, Smart Football (via EDSBS) -- What makes an offense terrible: Great stuff from Smart Football. Some of the points are pretty scary, but there are some encouraging things to take away. (Pan, I swear I was going to post this even before you did, but good job for posting it, too) Volleyball K-State Sports, Wildcats Win Over Coyotes: The Wildcats rolled up an unimpressive victory over South Dakota on Tuesday in four sets. Sounds like Coach Fritz was unhappy with the team's focus. K-State is back in action at home this weekend for the Varney's Kansas State Invitational, which features No. 17 Kentucky and a Purdue squad that was receiving votes in the AVCA poll. The Fourum I can't get the fucking Collegian's Web site to work, so if you want the Fourum, you'll have to brave the interwebs and find it yourself. Miscellaneous Finally, for those of you who frequent the SB Nation homepage, it has been completely redesigned and looks great. Go check it out.
