Also, USC's championship represents the first time the current BCS system has been validated. It's the first time in seven years that the No. 1 and No. 2 seeds met as they are supposed to, it's the first time in seven years that No. 1 finally won the whole thing like they're supposed to and it's the first time in seven years that the FBS mythical champion has been the same as the BCS "real life" champion. So, uh, good for you, Trojans...?
