GameDay: K-State vs. Sacramento State

Who: K-State vs. Sacramento State
When: 7:00 p.m.
Where: Manhattan, Kan. |  Bramlage Coliseum (13,340)
Media: KMAN  |  No TV

Official tipoff of the Frank Martin era comes tonight at Bramlage.  As I mentioned above, if any of you loyal readers make it to the game tonight, feel free to post a game reaction in the diaries when you get home, or email it to me at bringonthecats@gmail.com

While we should see a big blowout tonight, the last week has shown us that's no guarantee.  Both Michigan State and Ohio State lost exhibition games to inferior teams, while Kentucky lost its season opener to Gardner-Webb--woe is Billy Clyde Gillispie.  Also, Wyatt Thompson just said on the radio that David Hoskins is out again tonight with his healing knee, and Clent Stewart will be limited with a nagging hamstring injury.  Rumor also has it that Bill Walker may have a sore hand, but take that for what it's worth at this point.

The point: don't get too up if we win by 50, and don't get too down if we don't play well.  It's really, really early.

Go Cats!
