Just four weeks before the season opener against Eastern Kentucky on Sept. 3, the Kansas State football program began preparations for its 116th season of football, and the 20th under head coach Bill Snyder, on Wednesday when players reported to the Vanier Football Complex.

Kansas State, selected to finish third in the 2010 Big 12 North race, returns 40 lettermen and 15 total starters from last season’s 6-6 team that was one win shy of advancing to the Big 12 Championship game.
Spots remain available for a one-day football camp July 31, hosted by Kansas State head football coach Bill Snyder and the Wildcat coaching staff.
The camp, which begins with registration at 8:30 a.m. at the Vanier Football Complex, is open to any and all entrants between the grades of 11 and 12 in fall 2010, and campers will be divided by age and ability.
The day will consist of morning and afternoon sessions, as well as talks by K-State assistant coaches.
Lunch will be provided and parents are welcome to watch practice.
