SN: San Antonio ranks #1

That's right. San Antonio is the best basketball city in the NBA. This is a fun little distraction in the midst of a very slow time in basketball. Good stuff by Tim Griffin.

Rittenberg filling in for Griffin at ESPN.com for now

Put this in the "Major Upgrade" file: Adam Rittenberg appears to be temporarily covering the Big 12 for ESPN.com following Tim Griffin's departure. In addition to doing a very, very solid job covering the Big Ten in its entirety (NOVEL CONCEPT), he's also quite a friend to the blogosphere, so good news abounds. Hopefully ESPN can drag its feet a little bit on the new hire to keep Rittenberg around awhile.
