Kansas State running back Daniel Thomas continued to earn preseason accolades when the senior was named to the Preseason All-Big 12 Team on Thursday, while also checking in at No. 16 in NationalChamps.net's 2010 preseason rankings of the nation's Top 25 college football players.
A Doak Walker Award and All-America candidate, Thomas was the lone Wildcat named to the All-Big 12 preseason squad, voted on by the media, while he was the second-highest rated player in the Big 12 on the national Top 25 list, which was compiled by Heisman Trophy voter Todd Helmick.
