Ok so the other day I cynically called out Ubben for his, shall we say, opinionated column for ESPN. But after this latest fiasco the case is clearly being made to support my hypothesis. This latest installment ranks Big 12 corners, of which, he ranks KSU dead last. Just review the comments to determine how much, if any, actual fact checking he did to formulate not only his opinion of the Cats but the rest of league in general. Bang up job Sir...bravo!
Ballin' is a Habit put together a great post on the 'Cats turn around. Good Stuff.
Looks like we may take the plunge into conference television networking.
Here come the comments on our soft schedule once again. I really would be surprised if we don't replace them with a FCS opponent. As a fan I was so looking forward to seeing more solid match-ups. I'm sure this is only the first to be dropped...so stay tuned.
Jeffrey Fitzgerald/DE/Kansas State: Fitzgerald, who surprisingly has not yet received an invitation to next month's combine, was applauded by coaches throughout the week. He made a lot of athletic plays on the field and exploited a number of offensive tackles each day. Fitzgerald could easily land in the draft's top 100 selections.
Frank Martin talks about K-State basketball with Jim Rome on ESPN.
Normally, I don't really listen to what most Colorado media members tend to say, as they're normally wrong (I think the thin air kills of brain cells more quickly, but I can't prove that.), but KSU is going to be wretched? This wretched team returns most of it's starters and upgrades coaching at essentially every position group. However, Colorado, who returns the same mediocre coaching staff and the same awful quarterbacks go to a bowl game? Color me confused with the lack of logic.
