The Slate is back at it. Today, Aaron Watkins finishes in the top 15 at 2012 U.S. Open, K-State won't grant Manase Foketi's scholarship release, Bruce Weber gets commitment from Alex Etherington, and Colorado linebacker cries when he hears Adele.

Former K-State Golfer Aaron Watkins in Top 20 After Three Rounds at U.S. Open

Aaron Watkins shot a two-over-par 72 in the third round of the U.S. Open at the Olympic Club in San Francisco. After three rounds, he is tied for 18th at five over par. A good round today would give Watkins a chance to finish in the top 10, which would make him exempt for the 2013 U.S. Open at Merion Golf Club in Merion, Pa.
