Mike Clement, boasting seven years of coaching experience at two Division I baseball programs and strong recruiting ties in the state of Texas, has been named Kansas State’s hitting coach, head coach Brad Hill announced today.
Clement, who spent the past three seasons on the staff at Texas A&M, replaces former associate head coach John Szefc, who was hired last month as the head coach at the University of Maryland.
Kansas State head baseball coach Brad Hill recently announced a restructuring of his coaching staff with the hiring of two new assistant coaches and the transitioning of long-time assistant coach Sean McCann.
Former Kansas hitting coach John Szefc has been named associate head coach and will serve as the team’s hitting coach.
Also, former Wildcat assistant Josh Reynolds has been hired as the pitching coach.
