Weber re-energized at Kansas State

A surprisingly good feature written by notorious K-State disliker Jason King. Check it out. Also worth reading is this related blog entry by Eamonn Brennan.

Junior relief pitcher James Allen earned first-team honors, junior third baseman Jason King and freshman outfielder Jared King were named to the second team, and junior outfielder Nick Martini was placed on the honorable-mention squad. K-State Holds On for Two-Run Victory over Roadrunners

Jason King broke a 5-5 tie with a RBI triple in the seventh inning, supporting Evan Marshall's 2.1 no-hit innings of relief pitching, and Kansas State topped Cal State Bakersfield 8-6 on Tuesday at Tointon Family Stadium. The Wildcats improved to 27-17 on the year and 18-5 at home. K-State also captured the four-game season series against the Roadrunners after winning both games in Bakersfield last week. Cal State Bakersfield fell to 25-16 with the loss.

Jason King thinks K-State will finish in the bottom half of the Big 12 in basketball next year.

I think there's going to be a lot of this kind of thing in the next 6 months. And I also think that Frank's guys are going to play with a chip on their shoulders, and challenge for a Big 12 championship. In other words, "Suck it, Jason King!"
