FSN to Televise Iowa State Football Game

Kansas State’s 2011 home finale against Iowa State on Dec. 3 will be televised by Fox Sports Net, the Big 12 Conference and its television partners announced today as part of their early football selections for 2011. The matchup with the Cyclones will kick off at 11:30 a.m. from Bill Snyder Family Stadium and will mark the fourth straight year that the series will be televised by the network.

Homecoming Game vs. OSU to Air on FSN

The Big 12 Conference and Fox Sports Net announced Monday that Kansas State’s homecoming football game with Oklahoma State on Oct. 30 will be broadcast on the network as part of the league’s television package. The contest will kick off at 11:00 a.m. at Bill Snyder Family Stadium. Following Monday’s selection by FSN, the Wildcats now will have had six of their first eight games on television, including four on Fox Sports Net.

Baylor Football Game to Kick at 2:30 p.m.

The Big 12 Conference office and its television partners announced broadcast selections for the weekend of Oct. 23, and after not selecting the Kansas State-Baylor match-up, Bears officials have set a 2:30 p.m. kickoff time at Floyd Casey Stadium. In other Big 12 Conference games that day, Nebraska at Oklahoma State and Oklahoma at Missouri both will air on ABC. Meanwhile, the Iowa State at Texas and Texas A&M at Kansas games will be televised by Fox Sports Net.

Wildcats to Make Eight TV Appearances

Kansas State women's basketball will make eight television appearances during the upcoming 2010-11 season, with four of those contests airing to a national audience on either FSN or ESPN2. The Kansas State athletic department also has finalized game times for a majority of the home schedule.

UCF Game to Air on Fox Sports Net

The Big 12 Conference and Fox Sports Net announced Monday that Kansas State’s non-conference football game with UCF on Sept. 25 will be broadcast nationally on the network as part of the league’s television package. The contest will kick off at 11:30 a.m. from Bill Snyder Family Stadium. Following Monday’s selection by FSN, the Wildcats now will have five of their first six games broadcast on television, with four of those five games airing to a full national audience.

Preseason Football Special to Air on Three Stations

Kansas State fans will have numerous opportunities to preview the 2010 Wildcats prior to the Sept. 4 football opener as three television networks across the state and region will air the Wildcats’ preseason kickoff special beginning Sunday. The 2010 Kansas State Football Preseason Special, produced by K-State, will air three times on FSN, and also will be broadcast on Cox 22 and Metro Sports.
