In other news, I just got done listening to Brady Deaton's press conference.
He didn't say much of substance, but apparently the nine schools have agreed to a six-year grant-of-rights, which means if any of them leave, the conference keeps their TV revenues for the duration of that period. In other words, we're all stuck together for at least six years.
Well, duh.
Oh, and they want hard rules on the scope of the LHN, which no conference will accept as is.
So, Texas' options are: Stay in the Big 12 with limited LHN, or go somewhere else with no LHN.
Decisions, decisions....
