Bring On The Cats, a Kansas State Wildcats community

The Kansas State Wildcats made an impact at what longtime track and field coach Cliff Rovelto called the best NCAA Championship meet he ever has seen. The NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships saw the Wildcat men finish in a tie for 18th and the women 45th. The weekend was highlighted by Mantas Silkauskas in the heptathlon and Erik Kynard in the high jump.

Kansas State track and field coach Cliff Rovelto has been selected to lead Team USA this fall at the Pan American Games in Mexico. USA Track & Field announced the coaching staffs for the 2011 Pan Am Games, as well as the 2012 Olympic Games in London, on Thursday, and Rovelto has been chosen to serve as the men’s head coach at the Pan Am Games.

Good to hear. Cliff is one of the best track coaches in the country, if not the world.
