Bring On The Cats, a Kansas State Wildcats community

With the University of Washington women's alumni game occurring today at 10:30 am, Seattle Times reporter Jayda Evans suggested that "someday the alumni games will broaden to a city-wide format and the whole basketball community will have a chance to come together." Both Sports Illustrated and Seth Kolloen have recently highlighted Seattle as a breeding ground for NBA players, with SI giving the Adonai Hood Classic that Shoals and I attended a little late pub. And although the Seattle Public School district hasn't produced quite the same number of WNBA prospects as it has NBA prospects, an expanded Seattle women's alumni game could be fun. How about inviting Seattle Reign alumni? Seattle University alum Karen Blair who coached at local Ballard High School? And of course, Darnellia Russell? And shoot, while we're talking about Seattle women's basketball celebrities, I want Jayda Evans coaching one of these teams too. This could be more fun than I thought.... Side note: I must note that Seth cooked up his Seattle NBA alumni article well before SI ran theirs... and I am still shocked that Oakland barely makes the top 20...
