Something tells me Austin Meek is going to have a really good feature story in Sunday's Topeka Capital-Journal — hopefully to accompany the writeup of the Cats' huge win Saturday.

If you feel like K-State players probably shouldn’t be thumping their chests after getting thumped themselves the last two seasons, that’s a perfectly valid opinion. But let’s not make the quantum leap of saying that if the Wildcats lose Saturday, it will be because they provided KU with bulletin board material.
Do you really think anyone in the KU locker room is thinking, "You know, I wasn’t really focused on beating K-State on Saturday. I was thinking about chocolate chip cookies. But then I saw this bulletin board with quotes pinned to it, and I suddenly became incredibly motivated!
